Description
A bunch sample inspired me to share this favourite childhood recipe with you. It's a nice after school snack that can also be enjoyed for dessert.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook gnocchi according to packet instructions. This should take less than 5 minutes.
Step 2 of 4
As soon as the gnocchi rise to the surface, they are cooked. Use a slotted spoon to drain the gnocchi and place them in a pasta bowl.
Step 3 of 4
In a small saucepan, melt butter, sugar and cinnamon over a low flame. This will take less than 1 minute.
Step 4 of 4
Stir the melted sweet cinnamon butter and spoon or pour it over the gnocchi. Add a sprinkling of ground cinnamon if desired.
Serve immediately, as this recipe is best enjoyed warm.
