Description
Zero waste – party edition This chocolate dessert bowl is super fun, easy to make and sports a wow factor! Fill it with your favourite ice-cream and fruit, and when you’re done you can even eat the bowl!
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place coconut oil in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 20 seconds or until slightly melted. Add cocoa and maple syrup and mix well to combine. The mixture should be thick in consistency.
Step 2 of 3
Inflate two balloons to 10cm diameter and line a baking tray with baking paper. Dip balloons halfway into chocolate mix, then freeze for 3 minutes. Repeat three times to create three layers, scattering with sprinkles on final coat.
Step 3 of 3
Use the end of a sharp knife (or small pair of scissors) to burst the balloons, then gently peel away from the chocolate bowls. Fill chocolate bowls with scoops of chocolate frozen dessert, strawberries and drizzle any remaining chocolate mix on top. Serve immediately.
