- 500grams frozen pitted cherries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2teaspoons smoked paprika
Description
Sweet, sticky and delicious, this fruity sauce is perfect drizzled over barbecued veg, pork, fish or beef.
Method
Step 1 of 1
Place all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan over high heat and bring to the boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow sauce to thicken slightly. Transfer to a food processor or blender and process for 10 seconds or until smooth. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
