  • 1/4 cup traditional instant gravy powder
  • 1tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/3 cup tasty cheese, grated
  • 2tablespoons continental parsley, chopped

Description

Take TV snacking to the next level with a bowl of these cheesy loaded fries. They’re easy to make and are ready to devour in 30 minutes.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Preheat oven 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Divide fries between 2 large baking trays, then bake for 15 minutes or until golden.

Step 2 of 5

Meanwhile, heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook bacon, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Reheat same pan over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic, stirring, for 5 minutes or until softened.

Step 4 of 5

Meanwhile, place gravy in a medium heatproof jug. Add 1 1/4 cups boiling water, whisking until smooth. Add sauce and gravy to onion mixture, then cook, stirring for 1 minute or until combined.

Step 5 of 5

Drizzle gravy mixture over fries, scatter with cheese and bacon, then bake for 7 minutes or until cheese is golden and has melted. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
