Description
This genius recipe pairs classic cheeseburger flavours with pasta to take comfort food to the next level. This pasta will save the day every time.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties, onion, chilli and garlic, stirring, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add paste and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Step 3 of 4
Add canned tomatoes, capsicum and 1/2 cup water, then bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until mixture thickens. Add pasta and half the cheese to sauce, then toss to combine. Season.
Step 4 of 4
Serve pasta topped with remaining cheese, tomato, gherkins and parsley.
