  • 2 cups water
  • 125grams vegan cream cheese
  • 1 waxy potato, cooked, peeled, mashed
  • 2tablespoons white miso paste
  • 6tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/2teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2teaspoons garlic powder

Description

Fondue is always a fun and interactive item to serve to a crowd and this vegan cashew cream fondue will please everyone. Surround your vegan fondue with pieces of bread, pretzels, crackers, tortillas or crunchy vegetables.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Add the cashews and water to a pot setting it to simmer on the stovetop for 15 minutes. Add the warm cashews along with 250ml of hot water to a blender, blending until smooth.

Step 2 of 3

Place the rest of the ingredients into the blender, blending once again incorporating everything together.

Step 3 of 3

Season with salt before pouring into a fondue pot set with the heat source under the pot. Stir the fondu sauce until warmed through, adding all your favourite items for dipping.
