Made with caramelised onion and fragrant thyme, this vegan onion gravy recipe is so easy to make. Serve it at your next plant-based feast or roast dinner.

Method

Step 1 of 1

Heat oil in a medium frying pan over medium-low heat. Add onion and cook, stirring, for 15 minutes or until onion has softened and caramelised. Deglaze pan with vinegar. Add flour, then stir to coat onion. Stir in stock and cook, stirring, for 10 minutes or until thickened. Stir in thyme. Season.
