  • 500grams plant based mince
  • 20grams vegan egg replacement
  • 2teaspoons canola oil
  • 2teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 1 medium white onion, peeled and diced
  • 100grams vegan cheese, sliced
  • 4 sesame burger buns
  • 100grams lettuce, shredded
  • 1 large roma tomato, sliced
  • 4tablespoons vegan bread crumbs
  • 4tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped

Description

A delicious burger option for, perfect for a filling lunch or a lighter dinner.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Add the canola oil to a heated pan. Add the diced onions and garlic and fry for 2 minutes while tossing.

Step 2 of 4

Add the vegan mince to the pan and fry up while tossing for 10 minutes. Then remove from the heat to allow cool slightly.

Step 3 of 4

Add the mince, liquid smoke, herbs, vegan egg mix and breadcrumbs to a mixing bowl and combine fully. Once the mix is combined fully, pack the mince into into 4 patties.

Step 4 of 4

Chargrill the burgers for 5 minutes on each side. Heat your buns up on the chargrill also if desired. Serve the burgers on the buns with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato and ketchup.
