- 125grams butter, melted, cooled

- 1/4teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3/4 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa puffs
- 1/4teaspoons salt

Method
Step 1 of 3
Spoon brown sugar into a 21/2-cup capacity glass jar. Top with oats. Sift flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a bowl. Spoon flour mixture into jar. Top with coconut, peanut butter chips and choco crispies. Seal jar. Wrap with ribbon and include a gift tag with the below instructions.

Preheat oven to 190°C and line two baking trays with baking paper.

Empty contents of jar into a bowl. Add butter, egg and vanilla and mix well. Shape tablespoons of mixture into balls and place on baking trays about 5cm apart. Gently press biscuits with a fork to flatten slightly. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned, swapping position of trays halfway through cooking. Cool biscuits on a wire rack and serve.
