Bang bang sauce
- 1 cup whole egg mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 1-2 tbls sriracha (or hot sauce of your choice)
- 200grams uncooked prawns (or your choice of protein), shell removed
Garnish
- 2 spring onions, finely sliced, to garnish
- 2 tbls fresh dill, chopped, to garnish
- 1 tbls chilli, finely sliced, to garnish
- 1 sprinkle toasted sesame seeds
Description
This is the king of versatile and crowd-pleasing sauces. You make it with items you’re likely to have in the pantry, you can use it as a dipping sauce or as a marinade for cooking and it works with seafood, chicken, red meat, veggies and tofu. So easy, so delicious and perfect for everyone.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Mix together mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce and sriracha in a small bowl. Set aside 1⁄2 the mix to use as a dipping sauce.
Step 2 of 3
Mix the prawns with the rest of the sauce and toss to coat evenly and then airfry or bake at 200°C for 7-10 minutes, or until prawns are just cooked and the bang bang sauce is starting to bubble.
Step 3 of 3
Serve prawns with extra bang bang dipping sauce. Garnish.
