- 300grams cheese & pesto sourdough flatbread
- 4 sweet spiced gherkins (plus extra to serve)
- 1 handful continental parsley leaves
- 1tablespoons authentic French Dijon mustard
- 8 slices Jarlsberg cheese
- 4 slices ham off the bone
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat sandwich press. Cut sourdough flatbread into four equal pieces and split through the centre.
Step 2 of 3
Spread each bread base with 1 tsp Dijon mustard. Top with 1 slice Jarlsberg cheese, 1 slice ham, 1 sliced gherkin, parsley leaves and finish with another slice Jarlsberg cheese. Top with remaining bread, cut-sides down.
Step 3 of 3
Toast in sandwich press for 5 minutes or until golden brown and cheese has melted. Cut diagonally and stack on a plate. Serve with extra gherkins, securing with a skewer.
