Description

Ready in a flash with the air fryer, spice up your dinner routine with this quick and easy Tandoori Chicken on Naan. Marinated in yoghurt and a blend of spices, prep the chicken the night before, pop it in the air fryer, and serve it on naan.

Method

Step 1 of 4

To marinate the chicken, place half a cup of yoghurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger and spices into a bowl and mix together. Cut the chicken thighs into 4-5 slices, add to the yoghurt mixture and stir until the chicken is well coated. Season and place in the fridge to marinate for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Step 2 of 4

To make the yoghurt spread, grate the cucumber and squeeze tightly to remove the water. Mix in one cup of yoghurt with the coriander, garlic and season. Refrigerate until needed.

Step 3 of 4

Place the chicken in a single layer on the rack of the air fryer and sprinkle over the sliced onion. Brush with melted Westgold Butter and cook for 10-12 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius until cooked through. Lift the rack out of the air fryer and cover with foil to keep warm while you heat the naan.

Step 4 of 4

To finish the naan, brush with melted butter and overlap them into the air fryer. Heat on 200 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes until warmed through. Spread the yoghurt mixture over the naan and top with the warm chicken. Sprinkle over the red onion and extra coriander if desired. Serve immediately.
