For the topping
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 homemade granola
- 1tablespoons sunflower seeds
- 1tablespoons chia seeds
- 1teaspoons flaked almonds
- 1teaspoons acai powder
- 1 small banana, peeled, sliced, and frozen
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2tablespoons Greek-style yoghurt
- 2 medium papaya, peeled, deseeded, roughly chopped, and frozen
- 1teaspoons almond butter
- 1teaspoons honey
Description
Turn a simple smoothie into a nourishing breakfast bowl with the addition of blueberries, raspberries, nuts, seeds and chiaseeds.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Simply place all the main ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and thick, adding a little extra almond milk if necessary.
Step 2 of 2
Transfer the smoothie to a bowl and decorate with the superfood toppings. Sweeten the smoothie with a drizzle of honey, if needed.
