  • 10 medjool dates, cut in half, remove and discard the stones
  • 30grams gorgonzola cheese
  • 5 slices prosciutto
  • 1/2 basil leaf

Cut 10 medjool dates in half and remove and discard the stones. Spread 30g Gorgonzola or other blue cheese over the cut side of each date. Cut 5 slices of prosciutto or Parma ham into 4 long slices. Roll up the dates inside a strip of the prosciutto with basil leaf. Thread onto wooden skewers and serve at room temperature. Alternatively, quickly flash fry in a little olive oil and serve the skewers warm.
