  • 120grams goats cheese, crumbled
  • 1 pinch pepper (for seasoning)
  • 2 bunch basil
  • 16 small truss tomatoes, halved
  • 1 pinch pink salt ground (to taste)

Method

Step 1 of 5

Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease 2 x 8 hole patty pan tins.

Step 2 of 5

Cut pastry into 16 squares. Place a square of pastry into each prepared hole. Divide cheese between each pastry square. Top with tomato halves. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until pastry is golden and tomatoes are soft.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Serve warm or cold, topped with basil leaf.
