Steamed Thai Sesame Fish Cakes

- 500grams white fish
- 2 clove garlic, diced
- 1/4 bunch coriander , chopped
- 2 kaffir leaves
- 1tablespoons fish sauce
- 2-3teaspoons red curry paste
- 60grams yogurt
- 100grams sesame seeds
Description
This can be pan fry until golden colour or steam for healthier version. Either way taste good.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cut the white fish fillets in to pieces, and place in a food processor along with garlic. Process until finely chopped.
Step 2 of 4
Veins removed and finely chop kaffir lime leaves, chopped coriander, fish sauce, yogurt, red curry paste,salt process well until combined. Adjust curry paste to heat requirement.
Step 3 of 4
Lay a cling wrap on a table. Spread some sesame seeds. With a big spoon place a small portion of the paste on the cling wrap. Roll tightly in to small cylinders and tight both sides like a bon bon cracker.
Step 4 of 4
Place in the fridge for one hour. Then steam until well cook. Remove the cling wrap and slice.
2nd method - shape the fish paste in to even sized pieces, roll in sesame seeds, and pan fry in oil till golden colour. Serve warm.
