  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2teaspoons ginger, finely grated
  • 1kilograms nectarines, washed, stone removed, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1/4teaspoons chilli flakes (optional)
  • 2teaspoons garam masala
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup soft brown sugar
  • 1teaspoons salt

Method

Step 1 of 2

Place all chutney ingredients into a heavy-based saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 35-40 minutes, stirring regularly, or until thick and syrupy.

Step 2 of 2

Remove from heat and set aside for 10 minutes. Transfer to a large sterilised jar. When cool, seal with lid. Keep in fridge for up to 1 month.
