- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2teaspoons finely grated ginger, finely grated
- 2teaspoons garam masala
- 2teaspoons mustard seeds
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1kilograms nectarines, destoned, chopped
Description
Deck the Christmas table with this spiced nectarine chutney. It's the perfect balance of sweetness and tang to complement your Christmas feast.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place sugar, vinegar, ginger, garam masala, mustard seeds, onion, 1 tsp salt and nectarines in a large saucepan, then bring to the boil over medium-high heat.
Step 2 of 3
Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring regularly, for 40 minutes or until mixture is thick and syrupy.
Step 3 of 3
Remove pan from heat and set aside for 10 minutes. Store in a sterilised glass jar or an airtight container in the fridge up to two weeks.
