  • 1teaspoons dried chilli flakes
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

Description

Learn how to make this classic Italian dish of spaghetti with garlic and oil. Simple but full of flavour, this easy recipe takes less than 30 minutes to put together.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water according to packet instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.

Step 2 of 3

Heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes or until lightly golden. Add pasta, parmesan and reserved cooking liquid, then toss for 1 minute or until well combined. Season.

Step 3 of 3

Serve immediately sprinkled with parsley, extra parmesan and chilli flakes (if using).
