- 120grams unsalted butter
- 50grams caster sugar
- 1teaspoons vanilla extract
- 160grams plain flour
- 60grams caramel
- 2tablespoons coarse salt (to garnish)

Description
These cookies are so creamy and the salt adds a welcome bitterness.
Method
Step 1 of 8
In a mixing bowl, combine the butter with the sugar and vanilla until fluffy.

Incrementally add the flour while you are still mixing until combined fully.

Allow the mix to set in the fridge for 30 minutes and pre-heat your oven to 190°C.

Remove the dough from the fridge and roll out using a rolling pin.

Cut the dough into your desired shapes which should yield about 10 - 12 cookies and place on some baking paper on a baking tray.

Bake your cookies in the oven for 16 minutes or until cooked through.

Once cooked, allow to cool while you prepare your caramel as per instructions.
Step 8 of 8
Once cooled, drizzle or dip into the caramel and add some salt on top.
