  • 15 slices leg ham
  • 1packets rice paper
  • 150-200grams rice vermicelli noodle sticks
  • 400grams shrimps (optional)
  • 1tablespoons dipping sauce (eg. hoisin or chipotle aioli)
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • 1tablespoons minced garlic (optional)
  • 2tablespoons butter (optional)

Add/subtract fillings to suit your tastes. Avocado, shreaded cheese, anything you desire.

Method

Step 1 of 7

Cook noodles as packet directions. Drain away water.

Step 2 of 7

Optional step- Cook shrimps in fry pan with tablespoon minced garlic and 2 tablespoons butter. Another option purchase garlic prawns from woolworths deli and heat up in fry pan.

Step 3 of 7

Leave noodles and shrimp to cool. While waiting you can chop up cucumbers.

Step 4 of 7

Gather and prepare other ingredients. Get a shallow bowl and fill with water. Wet a tea towel and place on flat surface. Keep tea towel wet with water do not squeeze out.

Step 5 of 7

Start wetting the rice paper and place on damp tea towel. Wet the rice paper by dipping in water bowl. Add fillings as you desire.

Step 6 of 7

Rollup rice paper by folding top and bottom over fillings and then fold over sides. Repeat with next roll.

Step 7 of 7

Chop in half and serve with dipping sauce. I used hoisin sauce and chipotle aioli.
