  • 3teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 large lemon, rind finely grated
  • 8 beef rump steak medallions
  • 2tablespoons sea salt flakes
  • 3teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2teaspoons saffron threads

Method

Step 1 of 2

Finely grate rind of lemon and combine with sea salt flakes, paprika, oregano, garlic salt, saffron threads and white pepper in a mortar and pestle. Grind until a fine salt forms.

Step 2 of 2

Sprinkle mixture evenly onto both sides of the steaks. Cook on a preheated BBQ plate for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until cooked to your liking.
