Description
School holiday fun for the family!
Method
Step 1 of 8
Prepare a slice tray, approx 9x13 inch. Line with baking paper.
Step 2 of 8
Chop all ingredients (except coconut & chocolate) roughly and place in a bowl together with coconut.
Step 3 of 8
Using a large pot, fill half way with hot water and bring to the boil. Then add a steam basket on top. If you don’t have one, a cooling rack will do.
Step 4 of 8
Break up the Melting chocolate and put in a glass Pyrex bowl. Place the bowl over the steam basket and gently stir the chocolate until just melted through. I use a silicon spatula for this. Please be careful to not get burnt either by the steam or hot pan. You may use oven gloves if needed.
Step 5 of 8
Once chocolate is melted, remove the bowl from the heat and place on a heatproof surface.
Step 6 of 8
Add all other ingredients into the chocolate bowl and stir together until it is evenly distributed.
Step 7 of 8
Spoon mixture into a slice tray (9x13 inch).
Step 8 of 8
Place in the refrigerator to set for approx 2 hours. Chop into small pieces and place in a container. Keep refrigerated during the warmer months.
