  • 7grams instant yeast
  • 3 cup plain flour (plus extra for dusting)
  • 2teaspoons sea salt flakes
  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 500grams pork & fennel sausages, cases removed and discarded
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 4 cup pizza cheese
  • 1 cup pickled jalapeno, drained
  • baby kale (to serve)
  • honey (to serve)

Description

Make this flavourful pork and jalapeno pizza with honey drizzle and classic pizza sauce for a sophisticated flavour sensation.

Method

Step 1 of 4

To make the pizza dough, add yeast to 1 3/4 cups warm water in a jug and stand for 5 minutes. Place flour in a bowl with salt flakes, then add yeast mixture and stir to combine. Knead dough for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic, then cover and leave to proof in a warm place for 30 minutes. Divide dough into four portions.

Step 2 of 4

Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. Heat oil in large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cut sausages into pieces and add to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until browned. Set aside.

Step 3 of 4

Roll out each dough portion on a floured surface to a 25cm round. Place each round on a baking paper-lined baking tray. Spread pizza sauce over bases, leaving a 1cm border. Top bases with half the cheese, and divide sausage and jalapeno among bases. Top with remaining cheese.

Step 4 of 4

Bake pizzas, in 2 batches, for 15 minutes or until bases are golden and cooked through. Top pizzas with kale and drizzle with honey, then slice and serve.
