Description

Ploughman’s plates are an easy-prep lunch. Assemble yours with homemade peach chutney, leg ham, your favourite cheese and lettuce. Don't forget the crusty bread.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat oil in a non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, ginger, curry powder, chilli flakes and mixed spice. Stir to combine and cook for 5 minutes or until onion softens.

Step 2 of 3

Add peach, sugar and vinegar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to the boil. Simmer for 25-30 minutes or until a thick chutney forms. Season to taste.

Step 3 of 3

Spoon chutney into a serving dish or jar. Serve on a board or platter with ham, cheese, lettuce and sourdough.
