  • 2L salt-reduced chicken stock
  • 1 1/2teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 whole dried star anise
  • 2packets Golden Wok Diana Chan’s Korean Beef Dumplings 230g
  • 1 free range egg , lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 bunch baby pak choy, halved
  • 1tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

Description

This winter, elevate familiar flavours with a comforting, moreish soup packed with beef dumplings and leafy greens.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place chicken stock, soy sauce, garlic, oil, star anise and 1 1/2 cups water in a large saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove star anise.

Step 2 of 3

Add dumplings and cook for 8 minutes or until cooked through. Pour in egg and stir to combine. Add pak choy and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

To serve, divide dumplings, pak choy and broth among bowls. Top with sesame seeds and onion.
