Description
It's easy to bring the vibrant taste and bold colour of Asian street food to the table with Mr Chen's juicy dumplings and versatile Hokkien noodles.
Instruction tip
Swap tip:To make this dish more kid-friendly, omit the chilli. There is a wide variety of Mr Chen’s dumpling flavours in the freezer aisle.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok (with lid) over medium heat. Add dumplings in a single layer. Cook for 2 minutes, or until golden. Add 1/2 cup water and cover dumplings with lid. Cook for 5 minutes, or until all water has evaporated and dumplings are cooked through. Place dumplings on a plate, cover and set aside.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, place a small pot of water over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Add noodles and cook, stirring gently, for 1-2 minutes until noodles separate. Strain noodles and set aside.
Step 3 of 4
Reheat large frying pan on medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes, or until bright green and tender. Add sauces and noodles to vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute, or until heated through.
Step 4 of 4
Top noodle mixture with dumplings. Sprinkle over onion, chilli and coriander. Serve.
