Description

This honey roast figs recipe combines juicy figs with a spiced honey and orange dressing topped with rich creme fraiche making for an impressive dessert to serve family and friends.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cut a deep cross in each fig and place them in an ovenproof dish.

Step 2 of 3

Mix together the honey, orange rind and juice and cinnamon and pour over the figs. Cook in a preheated oven, 190°C, Gas Mark 5, for about 20 minutes or until bubbling and the figs are squidgy.

Step 3 of 3

Mix together the crème fraîche and mint and serve with the figs.
