Description

Take the morning grapefruit up a notch with an irresistible brulee topping. This clever recipe is super-easy and ready in just 10 minutes.
Instruction tip

No blowtorch? Place grapefruit halves, cut-sides up, under a preheated grill for 3 minutes or until sugar has melted and caramelised. To remove grapefruit segments, use a small, sharp knife to cut around the edge where the fruit meets the rind. Then cut in between each segment, ensuring not to cut through the skin. Remove cut segments with a small spoon.

Method

Step 1 of 1

Line a small baking tray with loosely scrunched foil. Place grapefruit, cut-side up, on tray. Sprinkle evenly with sugar. Using a blowtorch (see Tip), caramelise sugar for 20 seconds or until melted and dark golden. Serve topped with yoghurt and granola.
