  • 100grams butter, melted
  • 1/4teaspoons ground paprika
  • 1tablespoons thyme (or chopped rosemary leaves)
  • 12 large potatoes

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 220°C.

Step 2 of 4

Wash and dry the potatoes and cut in half lengthways. Make cuts, spaced 5mm apart, across the potatoes, but not all the way through (see tip).

Step 3 of 4

Combine butter, thyme or rosemary and paprika. Brush potatoes with half the herb butter.

Step 4 of 4

Season with sea salt. Place in a baking pan. Bake, brushing with remaining butter halfway through cooking time, for 1 hour or until golden and crisp.
