  • 8 fresh asparagus spears
  • 8 slice prosciutto
  • dipping Sauce
  • 1/3 cup sour cream - full cream
  • 1 1/2teaspoons wholegrain mustard
  • 1teaspoons honey

Description

Grill on the BBQ or in a Griddle Pan. Great finger food at a Party or for a quick and delicious snack or side.

Method

Step 1 of 6

Gather all ingredients together. Heat your BBQ or griddle pan.

Step 2 of 6

Cut the woody ends off the asparagus, and with a veggie peeler, lightly peel up and down the stalk a few times.

Step 3 of 6

Lay each piece of prosciutto out on a flat surface, and place each spear of asparagus on an angle on the prosciutto, and roll up, gently pressing the end (it will hold together) place on a plate, cover with glad wrap, and into the fridge until required. I quite often do this ahead of time to allow them to rest.

Step 4 of 6

Place asparagus on the BBQ or in a griddle pan for about 5 minutes, turning regularly, or until just cooked. (We like them a little bit crunchy)

Whilst the BBQ is happening, on with the dipping sauce. In a small bowl, add all sauce ingredients and mix well, adjust to your taste buds.

Step 6 of 6

Remove asparagus from BBQ and plate up with sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy.
