Description
Transform hard-boiled eggs into a cute Easter snack with this quick and easy Egg bunny recipe. To make it egg-stra special, get the kids involved in the decorating.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Boil eggs in a small saucepan of water over medium-high heat for 8 minutes for hard-boiled. Drain eggs. Run cold water over eggs to cool, then peel.
Step 2 of 3
Halve one egg lengthways. Use one half to make the bunny body. Halve the remaining half to make bunny ears. Cut remaining egg into 5 slices crossways.
Step 3 of 3
Peel and slice carrot diagonally, then trim pieces to resemble smaller carrots and to create a bunny nose and chicken beaks (see picture). Using the picture as a guide, arrange all egg slices on a plate with bunny body and bunny ears, and use rosemary, dill and currants to finish.
