  • 1teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 500grams beef mince
  • 800grams La Gina Diced Tomatoes
  • 10grams Massel Vegetable Stock Cubes
  • 375grams Vetta Rural Aid Spaghetti
  • 20grams parmesan (to serve)
  • 1/4 bunch basil, leaves picked (to serve)

Description

It's a family favourite that never disappoints. This spaghetti bolognese is as easy as it gets but it packs in loads of delicious flavours.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add mince and cook for 5 minutes, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, or until browned.

Step 2 of 4

Add tomatoes, stock cubes and ⅓ cup cold water, then stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce has slightly thickened.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to packet instructions. Drain. Return to pan. Add mince mixture, then toss stir to combine.

Step 4 of 4

Divide spaghetti mixture among bowls. Top with parmesan and basil. Serve seasoned with pepper.
