  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 chicken schnitzel, fresh
  • 420grams whole cherry tomato pasta sauce
  • 320grams Double Smoked Freshly Shaved Bertocchi Ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese, thin
  • 1teaspoons baby basil leaves (to garnish)
  • 1/2 cup mixed salad (to serve)

Description

Create a little meal magic by adding some Bertocchi Double Smoked Leg Ham and Swiss cheese to a crispy chicken schnitzel to take your parmigiana to the next level.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Line an oven tray with baking paper. Heat half the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add half the chicken. Cook for 2 minutes each side or until golden brown. Transfer to prepared tray. Repeat with remaining oil and chicken.

Step 2 of 3

Top chicken with pasta sauce, ham and cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until cooked and golden brown. Season.

Step 3 of 3

Place chicken on serving plates. Sprinkle with basil leaves. Serve with salad.
