Mash the figs in a bowl add the creamed honey, then the mashed figs, chopped mashed dates and the sumac.

This is just a base idea recipe you can change add more or less of each item to suit the texture and your taste.
You could also soak the dates in a dash of vinegar to give the spread a tangy savoury taste.

The spread is so yum on toasted turkish bread, also goes well with BBQ grilled lamb and chicken shish kabobs, and sliced bananas on pancakes with maple syrup, on a cheese and smoked salmon platter. Chop up the deseeded dates.
