  • 1 free-range egg
  • 200grams Nestle Bakers' Choice Milk Choc Bits
  • 125grams unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2tablespoons thickened cream
  • 3/4 cup Nestle Bakers' Choice Milk Choc Melts

Method

Step 1 of 6

Preheat oven to 170°C/150°C fan forced. Grease and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

Step 2 of 6

Using an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until pale and creamy, add egg; beat until just combined. Stir in flour, and Nestle milk choc bits. Mix until well combined.

Step 3 of 6

Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls; place 4cm apart on prepared trays; gently press down on cookies to flatten slightly. Bake for 15 minutes.

Step 4 of 6

Place Nestle milk choc meltsin a small microwaveable safe bowl; microwave uncovered on MEDIUM (50%) for 1 minute; stir. Repeat process in 30 second intervals until melted and smooth. Set aside.

Step 5 of 6

Carefully remove cookies from oven; use the end of lightly floured wooden spoon to make a hole in the centre of cookie.

Step 6 of 6

Divide chocolate mixture amongst holes, being careful not to overfill. Set aside on trays for 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
