  • 250grams butter, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate drinking powder
  • 1 1/4 cup organic plain flour
  • 200grams dark cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 4 fresh eggs, lightly whisked
  • 2 cup brown sugar

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease and line a 20x30cm shallow baking tin.

Step 2 of 4

Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over a low heat until melted and combined. Cool slightly.

Step 3 of 4

Sift flour and cocoa together then stir in brown sugar, chocolate drink powder and pecans.

Step 4 of 4

Add eggs to chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Pour into flour mixture and mix until combined. Spoon into prepared tin and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool in the tin then cut into squares.
