- 1teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 spring onions, sliced
- 1 red chilli, sliced (to serve)
- 1tablespoons ginger, finely shredded
- 2 baby pak choy, sliced
- 2 star anise
- 1L chicken stock
- 2tablespoons soy sauce
- 12 vegetarian wontons

Method
Step 1 of 3
In a large saucepan, bring stock and 1 litre water to the boil with soy, sesame oil, ginger and star anise. Reduce heat to medium.
Step 2 of 3
Add wontons to stock. Cover and simmer gently, for 4 minutes, until they float. Add pak choy stems, cook 1 minute, then add leaves and remove from heat.
Step 3 of 3
Discard star anise. Ladle soup into bowls and serve topped with spring onion and chilli.
