  • 1 zucchini, grated
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 3 sheets puff pastry
  • 1-2tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Good for hiding vegetables from fussy eaters.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Defrost 3 sheets of pastry and cut in half to make 6 pieces.

Step 2 of 5

In a large bowl mix chicken mince, zucchini, carrot, garlic and hoisin sauce together.

Step 3 of 5

Divide the mix between the 6 pieces of pastry down the length of the piece. Egg wash one long side, then roll up to seal, placing seam on the bottom. Cut each strip into 4 even pieces. Egg wash the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Sometimes I use a mix of sesame seeds and chia seeds on top or even parmesan cheese.

Step 5 of 5

Place in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until pastry and filling are cooked. Remembering all ovens are slightly different. I usually serve with potato bake and coleslaw.Enjoy.. Freezer suitable.
