Caramilk Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 125 unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1teaspoons vanilla essence
- 1 free range egg
- 1 1/4 cups self-raising flour
- 1tablespoons cornflour
- 130grams Cadbury Caramilk Baking Chips
Method
Step 1 of 4
Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg, then beat to combine.
Step 2 of 4
Sift over flour and cornflour. Beat on low speed until combined. Add baking chips and stir to combine.
Step 3 of 4
Roll 1 tablespoonful of mixture into a ball. Repeat to make a total of 30 balls. Place on a large plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
Step 4 of 4
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Place balls on trays 4cm apart. Bake, one tray at a time, for 15 minutes or until cookies are golden. Stand on trays for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
