For the sauce
- 1/3-plus one extra tsp cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil, keep 1 tbs for frying
- 1 medium jalapeno peppers, finely diced
- 1/2 medium red onion, peeled and finely diced
- 2 medium shallots, finely chopped
- 50grams parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
- 1teaspoons oregano, chopped
- 1teaspoons coriander, chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 brazilian beef strip steak, roughly 200g each
Description
Lightly charred strips of meat serve with a spicy and tangy sauce.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a blender and blend until combined but still with little pieces.
Step 2 of 3
Heat up a chargrill to a medium heat with 1 tbs of olive oil and fry the steaks for 3 minutes on each side.
Step 3 of 3
You can heat up your sauce in a saucepan and bring to a medium heat. Serve the strip steaks with the green churri churri sauce and a choice of condiments.
