Air-fryer Chocolate Swirl Meringues

- 2 eggs, white only
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- pinch cream of tartar
- 1/2teaspoons white vinegar
- 1/2teaspoons cornflour
- 2teaspoons Dutch cocoa powder, sifted
- 1 cup thickened cream, whipped
- 125grams strawberries, halved
Description
These pretty (and pretty easy!) meringues are a sight to behold, and a super easy treat for afternoon tea.

Method
Step 1 of 2
Using an electric mixer, beat egg, sugar and cream of tartar together for 10 minutes or until mixture is thick and glossy and sugar has dissolved. Add vinegar and cornflour. Beat for 20 seconds until combined. Add cocoa. Fold mixture twice to form a rippled effect.
Step 2 of 2
Line the basket of a 12-litre air fryer with baking paper. Spoon 4 large spoonfuls of meringue mixture onto baking paper. Set temperature to 120°C. Cook for 20 minutes or until meringues are dry to the touch. Stand meringues in the air fryer for 1 hour to cool. Serve dolloped with cream and topped with strawberries.
