  • 300grams raw cashews
  • 2 cups water, divided

Description

Vegan cashew cream uses only 2 ingredients and can be used anywhere your would add traditional cream, such as in sauces, desserts and even beverages.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Add the cashews and half of water to a pot setting it to simmer on the stovetop for 5 minutes. Let the cashews cool for 10 minutes before draining.

Step 2 of 3

Place the cashews and the remaining water into a blender, blend on high speed for 3-5 minutes until completely smooth.

Step 3 of 3

Pour into a container with a lid adding it to the fridge until ready to use.
