  • 1tablespoons lime juice

Description

Tuna tataki is the perfect way to enjoy seared tuna and is packed with Japanese flavour.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Spread the sesame seeds out on a plate. Brush the tuna loin all over with sesame oil and sear all over in a hot pan for about 40 seconds.

Step 2 of 4

Remove from the pan and brush lightly with mustard. Roll the tuna in sesame seeds to coat. Wrap with clingfilm and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Step 3 of 4

Whisk the soy sauce, lime juice and juice from the pickled ginger together in a small bowl.

Step 4 of 4

Slice the tuna into 1/2cm thick slices, scatter with rocket and pickled ginger, drizzle over dressing and serve.
