  • 200grams brown rice
  • 2tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1teaspoons red chilli
  • 4 nori sheets
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1/2 medium cucumber
  • 200grams oak smoked salmon
  • 50grams pickled ginger

Description

These simple hand rolls are the quickest way to get your homemade sushi fix.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cook the rice according to pack instructions, tip into a bowl and mix with half of the rice wine vinegar.

Step 2 of 4

Whisk the soy sauce, remaining rice wine vinegar and chilli in a small bowl to make a dressing.

Step 3 of 4

Cut the nori sheets in half diagonally to make 8 triangles. Divide the rice between the triangles, leaving a border at the edges. Place the vegetables and smoked salmon on top of the rice and roll up to form a cone shape.

Step 4 of 4

Serve the temaki with dipping sauce and pickled ginger.
