  • 500milliliter vegetable oil
  • 3 russet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2tablespoons white truffle oil
  • 4tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2teaspoons Italian parsley, leaves chopped
  • 1/2teaspoons sea salt

Description

Crisps have been a go to party snack to serve for any occasion, these homemade truffle parmesan chips take regular chips to a new level.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to 120°C. Add the sliced potatoes to the oil in batches not overcrowding the pot in order for the chips to cook and crisp evenly.

Step 2 of 4

Use a spider or slotted spoon to remove the chips from the oil onto a baking tray lined with a wire rack to drain off any excess oil from the chips.

Step 3 of 4

Once all the chips are cooked off add them to a bowl tossing the chips with white truffle oil, grated parmesan cheese and sea salt coating the chips.

Step 4 of 4

Add the truffle parmesan chips to a serving bowl ready for the party.
