Milk chocolate mousse
- 125grams milk chocolate
- 60grams unsalted butter
- 1 egg, lightly whisked
- 1 1/2teaspoons gelatine
- 150milliliter thickened cream
- 1 unfilled chocolate sponge* (2 layer)
- 12 edible decorations giant chocolate stars (to decorate)
- 1tablespoons cocoa
White chocolate mousse
- 125grams white chocolate
- 60milliliter unsalted butter
- 1 egg, lightly whisked
- 1 1/2teaspoons gelatine
- 150milliliter thickened cream

Method
Step 1 of 2
Melt white chocolate and butter together in a small saucepan over low heat. Cool for 5 minutes. Whisk in egg. Sprinkle gelatine over 1 tbs water in a small bowl. Stand in a bowl of boiled water and stir until dissolved. Cool. Stir into chocolate mixture. Beat cream until thickened. Fold into chocolate. Repeat method in the same way for milk chocolate mousse.
Step 2 of 2
Cut chocolate cake to fit into base of serving dishes and place a round of cake into each dish. Spoon over white chocolate mousse then milk chocolate mousse. Decorate with chocolate stars and dust with cocoa.
