  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

  • 2teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 angel food cake, ready-made, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 150grams strawberries, core removed, sliced
  • 130grams blueberries
  • 130grams raspberries

Description

Visually impressive triple berry trifle, will have everyone begging for another bowl of this light and airy dessert.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Add the vanilla pudding mix and whole milk together in a mixing bowl, beat with a hand held mixer for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 2 of 5

Whisk the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla together for 5 minutes until light and airy.

Step 3 of 5

Assemble the trifle adding half of the angel food cake to the bottom of a trifle dish followed by a layer of half the custard spreading out half of the whipped cream on top of the custard.

Step 4 of 5

Arrange the sliced strawberries around the edges pressing them into the glass. Fill with half the berries repeating the steps finishing the trifle with a layer of mixed berries.

Step 5 of 5

Refrigerate until ready to eat.
