- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup chocolate sauce
- 12 sponge fingers, broken
- 3/4 cup whipped cream
- 1teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4tablespoons icing sugar
- 4 small meringue nests, broken

Description
A crunchy sweet topping on this smooth dessert balances quite well.
Method
Step 1 of 8
Heat up a large saucepan with the cherries, syrup and water and bring to the boil.
Step 2 of 8
Allow the cherries to simmer for 10 minutes so that the liquid starts to reduce.
Step 3 of 8
Once the sauce has reduced and the cherries become sticky, remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Prepare 4 serving glasses by placing broken sponge at the bottom of each glass.
Step 5 of 8
Pour the cherries into each glass on top of the brownies.
Step 6 of 8
Now pour the chocolate sauce onto the cherries.
Step 7 of 8
Whip the cream with the vanilla and icing sugar and then place that on top of the chocolate sauce.
Step 8 of 8
Serve with broken meringue nests on top.
