  • 2 1/3 cup thickened cream
  • 50grams powdered sugar
  • 2teaspoons kirsch
  • 800grams vanilla pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1000grams black cherries in syrup, drained, reserve some syrup
  • 250grams cherry jam, heated just enough to make pourable
  • 100grams white chocolate, grated

Description

This trifle is perfect for a holiday dessert.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Using a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, beat the cream, powdered sugar and kirsch and until soft peaks form. Keep the whipped cream refrigerated while you assemble the other components of the recipe.

Step 2 of 2

Assemble the trifle however you like in a large bowl or small individual cups. Layer the pound cake cubes brushed with some cherry syrup, whipped cream, cherry jam, drained cherries and grated white chocolate.
